Is Holland & Barrett CBD Oil any Good? (Jacob Hooy/ Four Five / Cannaray/ Reakiro)
Holland and Barrett is the biggest health shop brand in the UK, and they stock a surprisingly large range of CBD oils, tinctures, and even CBD gummies.
The company stocks some of the biggest CBD brands in the UK (many of which we include in our guide to the best CBD oils we've tried), and has been at the forefront of growing the popularity of CBD in the country.
We thought it would be useful to take a look at a number of the CBD oils from Holland and Barrett to see how good they actually are, based on our experiences with them. Let's get into it:

Jacob Hooy CBD Oil
Jacob Hooy is the flagship CBD oil in Holland & Barrett, and it has been this way since the shop started selling CBD. They are a regular for the 'penny sale' deals and you'll often get 2 for the price of one.
In the olden days, there was lots of hate for this oil but we believe that it has always been a high-quality product. Most of the hate came from competitors who were disgruntled by the mass market tactics of the CBD, and this bled into consumer opinions online.
With a closer look at the product, the product is produced in the EU and we can see it is full of plant extract and the past lab reports show that the oil is 'full spectrum' (contains a small amount of THC). This is a good thing.
Most of the Jacob Hooy CBD oils in Holland & Barrett start at a low dose - 2.75% and 5%. The brand also sells capsules, balms and other CBD products in the stores and their online shop.
Regardless, the Jacob Hooy oil a good quality oil to start with, and is good as a gateway before trying different kinds of CBD which use a formula containing more CBD.

Reakiro CBD
Another long-term CBD oil stocked in Holland and Barrett is the CBD oil by Reakiro. The company is based in Poland but has a strong UK presence on its social media.
Based on many online reviews, this oil is one of the most popular oils from the health food chain and is regarded as a very high-quality CBD oil by many in the industry.
The oil contains a 'full spectrum' of cannabinoids and uses a raw hemp extract so it is not overly refined, and a more natural product.
Holland & Barrett stock the 500mg, 1000mg and 1500mg oils, and some capsules and gummies by this brand.
Trip CBD
Trip has been Stocked in Holland & Barrett for a few years now, and is mostly known for its CBD drinks range.
However, Trip also sells CBD oils and they are pretty good in our opinion. It is safe to say that they may be more style than substance, but that is fine too. Compared to the other oils in Holland and Barrett, this oil is much more refined and is flavoured with Orange and Camomile. So, you don't need to hold your breath or eat a spoonful of Manuka Honey to help the hemp go down.

Trip wouldn't be our first choice if you're looking for an effective and strong CBD product, but the bottles are nicer, the brand is softer and the oil has a much more palatable taste if you're new to CBD.
FourFive
Another CBD oil in Holland & Barrett is by Four Five CBD. They have been stocked in the shops for a few years, but are mostly known for their balm and muscle rubs.
Four Five was set up by two rugby players who have developed a range of products to help the recovery of sports professionals. A stand-out product of theirs is CBD oil which has been infused with Vitamin D.
Similarly to trip, this is not the most potent CBD oil from Holland and Barrett, but it is very good for a new user or if you like to carry the oil in your gym bag. The spray head on the oil makes it easier to dose while on the move.
The product we think that Four Five excells in is actually their CBD muscle rub / CBD balm. You can pick this one up from Holland & Barret stores or you can buy it directly from the company online via Amazon
Cannaray
Finally, Cannaray have become another of the more popular CBD oils in Holland and Barrett, down mainly to the promotion campaign the company lead with Claudia Winkleman.
We have tried several Cannaray products and we rate them fairly average among some of the other CBD oils in Holland & Barrett. Similarly to Four Five and Trip, the oil has a very light flavour and is very easy to take but doesn't give you the wow factor after using it for a while.
Holland and Barrett stock several Cannaray products, which are all different flavours, strengths and forms of CBD. A favourite here is the CBD gummies they sell, which are delicious and much more convenient that an oil.

So to round up this post it's fair to say that some of the CBD oil in holland and barrett is very good, but that all depends on the brand that you'll be buying. The shops stock several great brands, and there are some that are quite average. It is fair to say that Holland and Barrett do not stock ay objectively bad CBD products - just that some are slightly better than others.
