But even with that high standard, these vegan chicken nuggets from THIS ISN't are among the best we've tried from the brand. Made using a blend of from soya and pea protein, they're not only very tasty but they're also a great source of protein. The outside of the nuggets are covered in batter and breadcrumbs, so they get lovely and crispy when you cook them in the oven, or if you have an air-fryer then that'll make them even crispier. Fry's Meat Free Chicken Style Nuggets
Fry's is a vegan brand which we haven't featured too many times across our vegan guides, but we're definitely going to be adding them to more guides now that we've tried more of the Fry's products. These meat free chicken style nuggets from the brand are made using a blend of soy and wheat protein, and we found the texture to be very nice. We'd actually say that these vegan chicken nuggets actually have quite a bit of flavour compared to some of the other options we included in this list, which you'll probably either really like or find a bit confusing. They're made using rosemary, and sage, as well as mustard seeds, so the taste is quite strong, but we love it. Green Cuisine chicken-free nuggets
BirdsEye is one of the biggest chicken nugget brands in the UK, so it's great to see that the brand has released a plant-based version of its chicken nuggets. These nuggets are actually made using wheat protein, which gives them a texture that is slightly different to the texture of some of the other nuggets we've included in this guide - they're a bit softer on the inside (which we actually really like), but they're still nice and crispy on the outside. Also, because they're made from wheat protein, they're a good source of protein and fibre, and they're also free from any artificial colours or flavours. Tesco Plant Chef crispy nuggets
Plant Chef is the vegan range of products from Tesco, and it features some great products such as the excellent vegan cream cheese we tried recently. These nuggets from the Tesco Plant Chef range are another excellent product and make for a really good vegan alternative to chicken nuggets.
