Waitrose appears to have stopped selling CBD products (apart from drinks)
I've written quite a bit about how beneficial I've found CBD oils and gummies, especially for things like sleep. Usually I buy my CBD products online or at a store like Holland and Barrett, but occasionally I like to grab some from my local Waitrose.
Not all UK supermarkets stock CBD products (I've never seen any at M&S, for example), but plenty do, and I've bought CBD from Waitrose pretty regularly for years.
On a recent trip to Waitrose I headed to the section where the CBD is usually sold - it's the kiosk where the cigarettes and other nicotine products are sold, which I always think is quite unfair. I'm trying to buy something good for me!
But to my surprise, I couldn't see any of the usual CBD products on the shelves behind the Waitrose worker. No CBD oils, gummies, or capsules!
So I went home and double-checked the Waitrose website to see if this was for real, and sure enough almost all of the CBD products that were previously listed on the Waitrose website have now been removed:

I say almost all of the CBD products have been removed, because there is still one type of CBD product that you can buy via the Waitrose website - CBD drinks:
![FireShot Capture 118 - CBD Drinks - Waitrose & Partners - [www.waitrose.com]](https://you-well.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/FireShot-Capture-118-CBD-Drinks-Waitrose-Partners-www.waitrose.com_.png "FireShot Capture 118 - CBD Drinks - Waitrose & Partners - [www.waitrose.com]")
In fact, you can still even get CBD drinks as part of the Waitrose meal deal! TRIP is a highly rated CBD brand so it's not neccesarily a surprise to see them still listed on the Waitrose website, but it is a surprise to see only CBD drinks considering at one point Waitrose were selling CBD oils, gummies, and capsules.
So, what to make of this? Clearly Waitrose still understand that CBD products are popular, which is why they're continuing to sell loads of CBD drinks. The supermarket just seems to be moving away from other CBD products like CBD oils, gummies, and capsules.
I checked a couple of other UK supermarket websites to see if this was a widespread thing, and luckily it isn't. Sainsbury's is still selling all kinds of CBD products including oils, and although Tesco isn't selling any CBD oils, you can still buy CBD gummies and balms via their website.
I suppose this just means I'll have to continue buying my CBD products online instead of popping into my local Waitrose.
Let me know in the comments what you think of this!
