In our guide to the best greens powder that we’ve tried, we listed the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens as one of our top choices. This is a really popular greens blend which thousands of people consume every month, and if you’ve ever looked for greens powder on Amazon then you’ll see that the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens is one of the highest-rated products on the platform.
We know that lots of people are considering buying Udo's Choice Beyond Greens, and having tried the product we thought it would be useful to provide an honest review of our experience with Udo's Choice Beyond Greens. Let’s get into it:
What ingredients are in Udo’s Choice Beyond Greens?
One of the most impressive things to us about the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens powder is how many ingredients are crammed into each bag - you’ll find a number of ingredients that you’ll find in most green powders such as barley grass, kale, chlorella, and spirulina, but you’ll also find ingredients than you won’t find in many other green powders such as alfalfa herb and ginger root. I’m fact, we’d describe the ingredients list as extensive, with more than 15 different ingredients in each bag.

It’s also interesting to note that the udos choice greens blend contains lots of ingredients which are great for your gut health. This includes the friendly bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum, as well as lots of fibre from the flax and the sunflower seeds.
We’d also say that unlike other green powders we’ve tried, the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens actually has quite a pleasant taste. Looking at the ingredients, we definitely think this is due to the vanilla and cinnamon which has been added.
What is the nutritional breakdown of Udo's Choice Beyond Greens?
You’d probably only take a tablespoon of Udo's Choice Beyond Greens at a time, but when comparing the nutritional statistics of this green powder to other green powders, it’s useful to look at the stats per 100g.
What really stands out to us is the high iron content - we mentioned in our review of Rheal Superfoods that the Clean Greens blend is high in quite high in iron, but the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens actually contains more than 10mg more iron per 100g compared to the clean greens blend from Rheal superfoods. Udos choice also contains about 3g more fibre compared to the clean greens blend from Rheal superfoods. You also get lots of vitamins and other nutrients in udos choice beyond greens that you won’t find in the clean greens blend, such as iodine and chromium.

We were quite surprised to see how high in calories the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens blend is compared to the clean greens blend from Rheal superfoods - Udo's Choice Beyond Greens contains 86 calories more per 100g compared to the clean greens blend, which is actually quite a significant difference.
Anything else to mention?
Everything in the bag is organic, which really impressed us, but what we were most happy with was the price - we paid just over £20 for a 225g bag, which felt reasonable given that we paid about £18 for a 150g tub of the Rheal Superfoods Clean Greens blend.
Final thoughts
So overall we'd say that compared to many of the other greens powder blends that we've tried, the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens blend is really impressive. It's packed with goodness that you don't find in many other green powder blends, and it's reasonably priced.
