This UFIT high protein cereal is impressive (but expensive)
Breakfast is my favourite part of the day, but I like to keep thing simple - although I might enjoy a fry-up at the weekend, it's usually just a bowl of cereal during the week.
Regular readers will know that I'm always looking for ways to increase my protein intake, and I've tried a number of high protein cereals over the years. Recently, I stumbled across this UFIT protein cereal, and I was keen to try it - particularly because I really like the high protein drinks from this brand.
From a nutritional perspective, the UFIT protein cereal is pretty impressive.

For staters, this cereal contains 27.4g of protein per 100g. While that might not be as much as the likes of Surreal, it's still very high and is more than double what'll you find in something like Special K Protein.
It's also very low in fat - per 100g, it actually contains less than a fifth of the fat that you'll find in the same amount of the Surreal Cocoa cereal, which is quite interesting to note for people following a low fat diet.

Unfortunately some of the other nutritional stats let it down a bit compared to the likes of Surreal - for example, per 100g it contains less than half the fibre that you'll find in the same amount of Surreal Cocoa.
And I do also think that the UFIT cereal is pretty expensive at £4 per box, although saying that, Surreal costs about the same.
Have you tried this high protein cereal? If so, let me know your thoughts in the comments.
