This might be the weirdest high protein product I’ve found in Lidl so far
Regular readers know that I'm often scouring the shelves at my local supermarkets to find new high protein products, and over the years I've found some pretty interesting things. From high protein cheesecake to high protein pizzas, it seems that nothing is off limits when it comes to making it "high protein".
But a recent high protein find at my local Lidl really left me a bit speechless. It's these high protein puree pouches:

As my wife said to me - "what would you use it for?" It's a great question. I suggested it's the type of thing you could add to plain yoghurt or skyr to boost the protein content, but I found these high protein purees in the baking section of my local Lidl alongside products like flour, which confuses me even further. Are you supposed to put them in cake?

I have to say though, the macro nutrients of these protein puree pouches are impressive. Each pouch contains 20g of protein, and although the sugar content is quite high from the fruit, all of the pouches are very low in fat.

I'll probably pluck up the courage to try one of these protein puree pouches from Lidl soon, but in the meantime, let me know in the comments below if you've tried them!
