The Swiss Style Lidl muesli is way healthier than Alpen

In my guide about how healthy Alpen is, I basically concluded that even the no added sugar version of Alpen isn't very healthy. It's surprisingly high in sugar and calories, which most people eating it wouldn't expect (particularly the high sugar content).

The good news is that if you're looking for a muesli that is similar to Alpen but is healthier, Lidl has a no added sugar Swiss style muesli that I think makes for a great alternative.

For starters, the Lidl Swiss style muesli only contains 14g of sugar per 100g, which is 2g less sugar than you'll find in the same amount of Alpen No Added Sugar.

The Lidl no added sugar Swiss Style muesli is also lower in calories than Alpen No Added Sugar per 100g - not by much, but enough to make a difference if you're eating a bowl of it every day.

Perhaps the most significant difference is the salt content - 0.3g per 100g in Alpen No Added Sugar, and a tenth of that (0.03g) in the same amount of Lidl No Added Sugar Swiss style muesli.

So if you're looking for a healthier version of Alpen, give this Swiss Style muesli from Lidl a shot!
