The highest protein Quorn products that you can buy
Quorn is a brand that most vegetarians will be familiar with - they're one of the biggest "fake meat" brands in the UK, and the Quorn range includes everything from veggie mince to veggie chicken nuggets.
I love most of what I've tried from the Quorn range, and I think that in terms of taste, the Quorn products are excellent. But another aspect that I love about Quorn products is that, for the most part, they're high in protein. Quorn products are created from a substance called 'Mycoprotein', which is a type of protein that was created by the team at Quorn. It's made by fermenting a fungus called Fusarium venenatum, which might not sound very appetising, but results in the high protein, high fibre substance known as Mycoprotein.
As I mentioned, most of the Quorn products are pretty high in protein, but some are higher than others. I thought it would be useful to round up the highest protein Quorn products that you can buy, let's get into it:
Quorn brilliant bangers - 16g of protein per 100g
The standard Quorn sausages only contain 11g of protein per 100g, but for some reason the 'Brilliant Bangers' from Quorn contain 16g of protein per 100g. Looking at the ingredients, I can see that the Quorn brilliant bangers are made using pea protein, whereas the standard Quorn sausages are not. The Quorn brilliant bangers also contain almost half the fat of the standard Quorn sausages, so they're a great alternative.
Quorn Roarsomes - 16g of protein per 100g
Despite being aimed at kids (and, let's face it, adults who like their food to be shaped like dinosaurs), the Quorn Roarsomes contain a very impressive 16g of protein per 100g.
Quorn Vegetarian Roast - 17g of protein per 100g
The Quorn Beef Roast contains 16g of protein per 100g, but impressively the Quorn vegetarian roast contains a whopping 17g of protein per 100g. This would be ideal as a Christmas meal.

Quorn Picnic Eggs - 14g of protein per 100g
This is kind of cheating, because of course a Quorn product that is made using eggs is going to be high in protein. But that still doesn't change the fact that the Quorn Picnic Eggs are an excellent high protein product. Plus, they're very tasty and I could happily eat an entire pack in about 2 minutes.

Quorn Mince - 13g of protein per 100g
At 13g of protein per 100g, Quorn mince is definitely one of the highest protein products in the Quorn range. But I think it deserves a special mention because of how great it tastes and how easy it is to cook - I've published a guide about how I like to cook Quorn mince if you need ideas.

Quorn Pieces - 14g of protein per 100g
Similar to Quorn mince, the Quorn pieces are high in protein at 14g of protein per 100g, but get a special mention because of how excellent they are. I think they're the best veggie chicken alternative I've tried by far, and I really love the taste of them. I often add Quorn pieces to pasta dishes (like pasta pesto) for an extra boost of protein.
As you can see, there are lots of great Quorn products that are high in protein. Lots of excellent options for vegetarians and vegans wanting to add more protein to their diets!
