With all of the amazing high protein products that are out there, it feels easier than ever to get protein into my diet. It used to be a bit of a chore (which sounds a bit ridiculous, but trust me eating eggs and tuna when you're not hungry isn't fun), but nowadays it's a doddle.
This is why I love Lidl so much - the supermarket pumps out high protein products that make hitting my protein targets so easy. The latest Lidl high protein product which has made my diet really easy is the Gelatelli high protein ice cream bars:
The high protein ice cream bars come in 3 flavours - cookies & cream, white chocolate crisp, and chocolate chip. So far, the cookies & cream variety is my favourite.
Each 50g ice cream bar contains 5g of protein, so they're not super high in protein but considering the Bounty Ice Cream bars that I love only contain 1.6g of protein per 50g bar, these Lidl ice cream bars are significantly higher in protein than most other ice cream bars on the market.
And like most of the Lidl high protein sweet treats I've tried, I could easily eat more than 1.
