Maya of the In-Between - best for a fictional story that will ignite your spirituality
This book is totally different to the type of book we'd normally include in a list like this, but we love it so much we had to include it - Maya of the In-between by Sita Bennett is a fictional book about a young shy woman who crosses dimensions from one Earth to another in order to try and save the version of Earth in which humans ignore the repercussions of industrialization. It's a great story but the reason we've included it in this list is that we believe it to be a deeply spiritual book that will inspire something within you to make positive changes for yourself and others. We think this book would be especially useful for young people to read, particularly those who are struggling to find themselves in this often strange and confusing world.

Deep Listening by Jillian Pransky- best for a healing book (and excellent audiobook)
We actually listened to the audiobook version of Deep Listening: A Healing Practice to Calm Your Body, Clear Your Mind, and Open Your Heart, and we loved it so much that it had to be included in this list. Perhaps what makes this book so compelling is the author's story - Jillian Pransky was a typically driven type-A personality who thought it was right to just push through the pain whenever she felt resistance. When something awful happened in her life and it sent her over the edge, Jillian knew it was time to change something about her lifestyle. Pransky developed her Calm Body, Clear Mind, Open Heart program which is taught around the world and has helped lots of people to reconnect with themselves.
