Marks & Spencer is now one of the best supermarkets for high protein products

Published by Finn Hayden

Something I've noticed in recent months is that Marks and Spencer has slowly been adding more and more high protein food products to its range. We've written previously about the high protein duck jerky sold at Marks and Spencer as well as the high protein bread rolls, but the high protein range has now extended well beyond jerky and bread rolls.

For starters, a whole new range of high protein ready meals is now available to buy from Marks and Spencer, and what really impressed us about this range is that it has something for both vegans and meat eaters.

Starting with the vegan option, this tofu ready meal contains 22g of protein, which is a great amount to get from a vegan meal.

But it's the meat options that really impressed me - this chicken katsu curry ready meal contains 42g of protein and it's only £5.50.

Protein cereal is all the rage at the moment, and I'd say Marks and Spencer is the best supermarket to go to if you want to add some protein to your breakfast - in recent months the supermarket chain has rolled out high protein granola, high protein chocolate cereal (that's vegan), and even a high protein cereal topper (pictured).

These protein yoghurts from M&S each cost just over £1 and are great for adding an extra 25g of protein to your diet.

So as you can see, if you're looking to stock up on high protein products then M&S has got be one of the best supermarkets to head to!
