Lidl just launched 3 really interesting high protein products

Published by Finn Hayden

Most of the major supermarkets have started rolling out impressive amounts of high protein products, but I think Lidl is launching the most interesting high product products of them all. I've already written about the wraps and the other high protein products from Lidl, but the supermarket has added 3 more this month that look really interesting.

First up is these quark desserts, which each contain 29g of protein. If you're not familiar with what quark is, it's technically cheese, but it's sour like Skyr. It also has a really thick texture, and happens to be high in protein too. There are actually lots of protein puddings out there which are made from quark, like the protein puddings from M&S.

These quark dessert puddings are available in a few flavours, including coconut and sour cherry.

Next up are these coffee protein drinks that I spotted. I only just published an article about the high protein drinks at Starbucks, but it seems Lidl have also jumped on this bandwagon.

The Starbucks coffee protein drinks contain 20g of protein each and cost £3.60. What's great about these Lidl coffee protein drinks is that they contain 19g of protein each, and only cost 75p each. Total bargain!

Lastly, Lidl has finally launched a Huel alternative, which they've imaginatively called 'Food in a Bottle'. As the name suggests, this is supposed to be the Lidl take on a meal replacement shake, and it actually looks pretty good.

For starters, it contains 7g of protein per 100ml, so a total of 35g of protein per bottle. But the really impressive thing about these drinks is that they're packed with vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Copper, Magnesium, & more.

The drinks are available in 3 flavours - chocolate, banana, and berry. They look great!
