Turmeric and Black Pepper are a match made in heaven. A lot of the Turmeric tablets you find in the UK contain black pepper, as this hugely increases the absorption (and effectiveness) of the curcumin's anti-inflammation properties.
The capsules contain 10,000mg of Turmeric Extract which contains 190mgs of curcuminoids. The brand lab tests their products and they are made in the UK too.

This little box of 30 capsules was recommended to me by a friend who swears by these capsules. They are £30ish (£1 per capsule) but after trying all kinds of turmeric tablets, this is the one she takes every time.
The company claim the capsules are the most bioavailable form of turmeric. They are packed with a Full Spectrum Curcumin which contains other beneficial flavonoids and curcuminoids, alongside plant-based antioxidants that help protect you from free-radicals.
The only consideration we have about this product is that the addition of black pepper is always seen as more beneficial, where possible the best supplements contain curcumin and piperine.

Healthspan Opti- Turmeric Tablets
Usually, Turmeric comes in the form of a little powdered and pressed tablet, or a capsule with powder inside. Healthspan have gone a step further and liquidised the turmeric into each tablet. The extract contains a higher level of curcumin than powdered turmeric alone.
According to the Healthspan website these capsules are 7x quicker to act, absorbed 185x better than traditional powdered Turmeric and they have included vitamin C for added immune support. Just looking at the ingredients on their own it is clear to see why these are considered by many as the best turmeric capsules available in the UK

H&B High Strength Turmeric, Boswellia & Ginger
Holland & Barrett being the largest health food shop in the UK have a huge selection of Turmeric supplement options.
For many people, H&B would never get onto their list of the best turmeric capsules, but we quite like the combination of active ingredients in their home 'High Strength' product. Not only does it contain Turmeric but Boswella, Ginger, Shiitake Mushroom Reishe Mushroom (both good for immune health) and Black Pepper (to increases Curcumin effectiveness).
As a capsule goes, these are pretty well rounded. The only thing we should mention is that the formula does contain magnesium stearate which is a bulking, anti-caking agent. There are some studies that show this turns into Magnesium in the gut (good for bones) and that it doesn't become toxic. It is a consideration we have to make.

H&B Turmeric Capsules
Pure and simple, Turmeric capsules. No fuss, just simple, easy-to-use and effective supplements.
This particular tub contains 240 individual capsules which is dosed at once per day. That is 2/3 of a year's worth. So, if you need the best turmeric capsules you can buy on a budget, then these are fantastic value.
Again thought. If you want the best, curcumin and pipperine supplements are the way to go. Turmeric alone is effective, but the addition of black pepper supercharges the product.
