The best tequila you can buy in the UK (top 6)

Tequila has to be one of the most underrated types of alcohol out there - despite having a great song all about it, and despite being popular in other parts of the world such as Mexico, here in the UK, we don't drink much of it. We think this is a real shame because there is some amazing tequila that you can buy here, and it's a really versatile drink which can be drunk straight or as part of a cocktail.

We wanted to round up the best tequila that we've found and tried to give you an idea of what to try if you're looking to dive into the world of tequila, so get ready to don a sombrero and try one of these amazing drinks. Let's get into it:

Vivir Tequila Reposado

Made using traditional methods with the finest blue Weber agave and volcanic spring water, this tequila from Vivir is very high quality and tastes lovely.

The tequila is aged in oak barrels which gives it a smooth and complex taste, as well as notes of oak and vanilla.

This tequila is versatile and can be used in cocktails or simply sipped on its own. Plus, we love the design of the bottle.

You'll pick up notes of vanilla and caramel, as well as oak from the barrels. It also has a slight sweetness, which makes it ideal for a cocktail like a Tequila Sunrise. On top of the great flavour, we love the look of the bottle and the packaging, and we think it would make for an excellent gift.
