The best natural deodorant you can buy in the UK (top 6)
Most people use deodorant every day, but although we usually care about what the scent of our deodorant is, most of us don't think twice about what our deodorant is actually made from. If you've ever looked at the back of your can of deodorant, you'd probably be shocked to see all of the strange and hard-to-pronounce ingredients packed in there. That's why there has been a real increase in the popularity of natural deodorants, the best of which we wanted to round up for a guide. Let's take a look:
The Natural Deodorant Co
The Natural Deodorant Co. products do exactly what they say on the tin. They're 100% natural and definitely effective. The Trustpilot of this brand is actually very impressive, with an 'Excellent' rating from more than 1k reviews. You might notice that wording on the front of the packing is quite interesting - describing a deodorant as a "balm" might not sound right, but this is exactly what these products are. It's not a stick or a spray, but rather a balm that you lather onto the skin. It's creamy but doesn't make a mess and dries very quickly. Scents include Orange + Bergamot and Palmarosa + Mandarin, all of which are of course made from natural essential oils. And the active ingredients in the balm which actually tackle sweat and odour are antibacterial magnesium and sodium bicarbonate. Learn more here - naturaldeoco.com

Weleda
One of the things we find strange about the Weleda deodorants is that they don't look very "natural" in our opinion, but don't be mistaken by the slightly pharmaceutical-looking packaging. These deodorant sprays are totally aluminum-free and feature natural oils such as lemon and sweet orange essential oils to provide the scent. It does contain alcohol which some purists will want to avoid, but everything in the bottle has been sourced naturally and this deodorant provides 24hr lasting protection. Wild refillable natural deodorants
Wild is a brand which has been really active on social media recently, and consequently, they've grown in popularity quite a bit. Their deodorant sticks are Aluminium free and refillable, making them both natural and sustainable. Their website can be a little confusing for a first-time buyer, but the concept is actually quite simple - you buy a case, and then you choose which stick you want for it. Once you've finished that stick, you can order a refill. There are some nice extras too, for example, if you're buying a deodorant from Wild as a present then you can add engraving to the case, which is a little weird but also will help people to treasure their Wild deodorant and not chuck it away! We Love The Planet
The We Love The Planet range of deodorant sticks feature some really interesting scents, but what we really like about them is that they're really comfortable to use. The brand uses sodium bicarbonate as the main odour-fighting ingredient in their deodorant, which definitely seems to be effective. We also love that all of the scents are made from essential oils, and the sticks themselves are made from a combination of beeswax, Coconut Oil, and maize starch powder. This makes them soft but sturdy, and really easy to spread on the skin. Like many of the deodorants in this list, it's sodium bicarbonate which is the active sweat-fighting ingredient here. Salt of the Earth
Salt of the Earth is probably one of the only brands that we've included in this list that we imagine you've heard of before - their products have been around for a while and you'll see them stocked in places like Holland & Barrett and even some major supermarkets. The popularity of this brand isn't a shock though - they're aluminium chlorohydrate & paraben free, and very well made. These are also one of the only spray natural deodorants that we've included in this list, so if you don't enjoy the roll-ons and you prefer to spray your deodorant on, give Salt of the Earth a shot. Fussy refillable natural deodorant
If you've ever watched the BBC tv show Dragon's Den then you might recognise the Fussy brand - the team ended up walking away with investment from Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden, which was a huge success. Unsurprisingly, the brand has gone on to be one of the best-known natural deodorant brands in the UK, and you can find these products stocked in Tesco. This deodorant contains no aluminium, no parabens, and is 100% vegan. Fussy also has a very 'Excellent' impressive Trustpilot rating from more than 6000 reviews.
