When you're trying to lose weight, carbs are not your friends. In fact, cutting out carbs is one of the easiest ways to lose weight, which is why so many diets are based around low carb foods.
Following a low carb diet no longer means cutting out most types of foods. In fact, there are more low carb versions of our favourite foods out there than ever. We've published a guide previously about the best low carb bread we've tried, but for those of you who prefer wraps, low carb wraps are also an option. We thought it would be useful to round up the best low carb wraps you can buy, let's get into it:
CarbZone protein tomato tortilla wraps
We've been featuring the CarbZone brand in a number of our low carb guides because the products from this brand definitely fit that description, including these delicious low carb tortilla wraps. Made using tomato, they have a lovely fresh and slightly sweet flavour which goes great with Mediterranean fillings. Each of these wraps contains just 4g of carbs, which is really impressive. Tesco Free From White Tortilla Wraps
You might assume that white wraps would be full of carbs, and generally, that is the case. But these wraps from the Tesco Free From range are actually pretty low in carbs at just 12.4g of carbs per wrap. Learn more and buy them here - tesco.com
CarbZone protein tortilla wrap
Another great low carb wrap from the CarbZone range is the standard variety of the Protein Tortilla. It doesn't have quite the same flavour as the tomato wrap, but if you're looking for a wrap which is a bit more versatile and which will work with both sweet and savoury filling, the plain low carb wraps from the CarbZone are perfect. These are larger wraps than the tomato wraps from CarbZone, but each wrap still contains just 7g of carbs. Learn more and buy them here - carbzone.co.uk
BFree Sweet Potato Wraps
The BFree brand makes products which are excellent for people with allergies to things like gluten, but not many people realise that many of the products from this brand are also low in carbs. For example, these sweet potato wraps contain just 14g of carbs per wrap, making them a relatively low option. Plus, the sweet potato taste is really nice. Learn more and buy them here - tesco.com
We hope this guide helps you to find some delicious low carb wraps to enjoy. Let us know if you've tried any of these or if you have any other recommendations for us!
Weight Watchers Wraps
We have to admit that we expected the wraps from Weight Watchers to be really low in carbs given they were worthy of a place in our low calorie wrap guide, but at 22.8g of carbs per wrap, they're definitely low in carbs but not super low. We still felt like they were worthy of a place in this list though, especially given that they're white wraps. Learn more and buy them here - tesco.com
Warburtons Gluten Free White Wraps
Because these wraps from Warburtons are wheat and milk free, they're actually pretty low in carbs with just 26g of carbs per 45g wrap. They're also really tasty, as with all of the gluten free products from Warburtons (like the delicious tiger bread we included in our gluten free bread guide).
