Tasty low calorie biscuits for people who want a sweet snack with a little less of the guilt (top 5)

Published by Finn Hayden

It's unfair that in life, the best-tasting foods tend to contain the most calories. However, there are some excellent low calorie versions of our favourite foods, and we've written about plenty of them on our blog. For example, we were blown away by the amount of delicious low calorie cereal we found.

There are also lots of excellent low calorie biscuits which you can buy, and we thought it would be useful to round up the best that we've bought and tried. Let's get into it:

Prodigy Phenomenoms Chocolate Digestive Biscuits

We're so impressed that the team at Phenomenoms has somehow managed to recreate the amazing taste of chocolate digestive biscuits, but with so few calories. Each of these chocolate digestive biscuits contains just 36 calories, which is almost 50 fewer calories than what you'd find in a Mcvities Milk Chocolate Digestive biscuit. Incredible! These were easily the best low calorie biscuits that we could find for this guide, and we've stocked up on them to make sure we can enjoy them whenever we have a craving for a biscuit. The Skinny Cookie Co. orange cookies

The Skinny Cookie Co is a brand launched by Burton's Biscuits, the company behind other popular biscuit brands such as Jammy Dodgers and Maryland Cookies. So although these might be lower calorie biscuits, they're made by a company which really knows what they're doing. Each mini 20g bag of these cookies contains just 99 calories, which considering how good they taste is very impressive. We love the chocolate orange taste and these are very moreish, although 1 bag is definitely satisfying. Learn more and buy them here - groceries.asda.com
