8 greens powders that we’ve bought, tried, & loved

Published by Finn Hayden

Consuming all of the nutrients that your body needs might seem like a fairly simple task, but it's actually much harder than it sounds. In our modern society, so much of the food that we consume is lacking in nutrients, so even if you're eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, there is a good chance that you're not getting all of the goodness that you should be.

That's why greens powders are so excellent - you can get all of the nutrients your body needs to function effectively from a very small amount, which can easily be mixed into food or water. There are lots of options out there when it comes to greens powders, so we thought it would be useful to round up the best greens powders that we've tried and that you can buy in the UK. Let's get into it:

Daemon Power The Ultimate Green Powder

This greens powder from Daemon Power has impressed as we outlined in our full review of the product.
You get a base mix of organic Wheatgrass, Barley Grass, Moringa, Spirulina, and Chlorella, but what really sets this greens powder apart from many of the other greens powders we tried is that it's also packed with antioxidants, nootropics and adaptogens, including Lions Mane, Reishi, and Turkey Tail.
We'd even say that the taste of this greens powder is quite pleasant as it contains Blueberry Extract, which not only contains antioxidants but also adds a nice sweetness.

F-S Greens

What we like about F-S Greens is that it contains some ingredients that you won't find in any other greens powders, and it's clear that the team at Her Free Soul has conducted extensive research to try and create a unique greens product. As we mentioned in our full review of F-S Greens, this is quite an expensive product, but it's definitely premium and with 21 different ingredients in each scoop, you get a lot of bang for your buck. As we mentioned in our full review of Rheal Superfoods, this green powder is made using 8 different superfoods including Barleygrass, Wheatgrass, and Spirulina, this powder is packed with nutrients and contains everything you'd expect to find in a good greens powder. It also contains baobab powder, which is an excellent source of fibre and also adds a nice sweetness to the powder, making it perfect for mixing with protein powder.

As we mentioned in our full review of the Naturya Green Superblend, if you're looking for a greens powder which is not only packed with minerals and vitamins but also contains a high amount of protein, then the Organic Green Superblend from Naturya is a great option.
It's made using hemp protein powder and ingredients which you'd expect to find in any good greens powder, including Wheatgrass, Barleygrass, and Spirulina. If you're active and need lots of protein in your diet, then this is the best greens powder on the list.

Udo's Choice Beyond Greens

What impressed us with this greens powder from Udo's Choice is that it contained some ingredients which we didn't find in any other greens powders, and it also managed to pack a lot into each pouch - this powder is made with ingredients like alfalfa herb, ginger root, and cinnamon bark, all of which are a great source of phytonutrients.

This powder was developed by Udo Erasmus, who is an expert in natural health. This powder is a great source of Vitamin K and Iodine, as well as containing 25g of protein per 100g. That is something special! If you want to read more of our thoughts about this product, check out our full review of the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens powder here.

Indigo Herbs Organic Supergreens Powder

This Supergreens Powder from Indigo Herbs is one of the best we have tried. It contains just 5 ingredients, but it's packed with nutrition and we're really impressed with it, which is why we included it as one of our top alternatives to Athletic Greens.
The powder is high in both Vitamin A and C, as well as containing a mix of B vitamins, and it contains minerals including selenium, magnesium, copper, and manganese.
And because it contains Spirulina, Chlorella, and Moringa, this greens powder is also a source of complete protein, with these ingredients combining to contain all 9 essential amino acids. The taste wasn't bad at all and if you had a tablespoon to a protein shake, it'll add some nice texture.
Indigo Herbs also has a very impressive 'Excellent' rating on Trustpilot, so clearly we're not the only ones who are loving this brand and product. Learn more and buy it here -

Aduna Super Greens Advanced Superfood Blend

What we really love about the Super Greens Advanced Superfood Blend from Aduna is that alongside the ingredients that we'd expect to find in a good greens powder such as Spirulina and Wheatgrass, you'll also find some really interesting ingredients that are packed with nutrients. This includes Camu Camu, which is a berry from the Amazon Rainforest that is an excellent source of vitamins, and Agave Inulin, which is full of friendly bacteria that your gut will love. At £22 per 250g bag, we also think it's well-priced given how many great ingredients are in it. You can read more about this product in our full review. Learn more and buy it here -
