Flushable toilet wipes that wipe well and flush fine (6 we’ve tried & love)

Published by Finn Hayden

It's 2024, and despite huge advancements in various areas of Western society, some parts of our lives still feel decidedly old-fashioned. We'd put wiping our bums into this category - not only is it terrible for the environment given how much toilet paper people need to wipe properly, but it's also ineffective. If you got your hands covered in mud, you wouldn't want to use toilet paper to clean your hands, you'd want something like a wet wipe.

Luckily, flushable toilet wipes are really starting to grow in popularity here in the UK. Similar to an air fryer, we think flushable toilet wipes are the type of product which you don't fully understand until you've tried them. And once you've tried them, you realise how good they are and there is no going back to normal toilet paper.

There are lots of options when it comes to flushable toilet wipes, so we thought it would be useful to round up the best flushable toilet wipes that you can buy in the UK.

Before we get into this guide, it's worth mentioning that any flushable toilet wipes that you use should be “Fine to Flush” certified by Water UK, and all of the toilet wipes we've included in this guide have this certification. But even still, you should flush all of these wipes very carefully one wipe at a time.

Now let's get into the guide:

Nice 'N CLEAN SecureFlush Wipes

The main appeal of the SecureFlush wipes is that they break apart really quickly, and according to the Nice 'N CLEAN team, these toilet wipes will break apart even faster than toilet paper, making them very safe to flush. We like the fragrance free variety of these toilet wipes, which are made using Vitamin E and almond milk to help soothe your skin and make you feel extra clean. These toilet wipes are also biodegradable. You can buy 480 of these wipes for less than £20, learn more and buy them here -
