Aldi has launched 3 new high protein cereal options

Published by Finn Hayden

Aldi continues to impress me with how many high protein products they're pumping out, seemingly on a weekly basis. It wasn't long ago that I was raving about the high protein cereal at Lidl, and I'm now pleased to say that Aldi has some great high protein cereal options too.

Firstly, I spotted these high protein multigrain hoops, which look very similar (and are very similarly priced) to the cereal I spotted at Lidl.

A box of these costs £2.49, and you get 7.5g of protein per 30g serving. Per 100g, this cereal contains 24.4 g of protein, which is actually slightly less than you'll find in the same amount of the Lidl High Protein Hoops. This Aldi cereal also contains about 10g more sugar per 100g compared to the Lidl cereal, so that's quite a considerable amount more.

I also spotted these Protein Multigrain Flakes at Aldi - I've not seen too many high protein cereals like this (usually it's hoops or clusters), so it's quite interesting to have a "flake" high protein cereal like this, although you do get a high protein version of Special K.

These contain 8.7g of protein per 30g serving, and are also higher in fibre compared to the High Protein Hoops.

Lastly, this Protein Granola caught my eye too - Aldi granola that is high in protein is nothing new, but it's great to see Aldi offering even more options like this.

It's exciting times for those of us who love breakfast cereals and also love getting lots of protein in! Let me know if you've tried any of these and if you have, what you think of them.
